Some of the most powerful moments in coaching happen in a room full of women who all thought they were the only one struggling.

The relief of hearing someone else say exactly what you’ve been thinking but couldn’t quite articulate. The energy of being in a space where honesty is welcome and judgment isn’t. The realisation — sometimes for the first time — that you are not alone in this.

That’s what group work offers. Not just information. Not just tools. A genuine sense of shared experience that changes how you see your own struggle — and what becomes possible because of it.

Joanne is the first person who truly made me feel heard and understood about my relationship with food. I had always felt so isolated, not realising how common my experience was. She was patient through all the changes I went through, and she helped me make sense of my thoughts in a way that finally made them clear.

The Midlife Conversations — Free Online Webinars

A series of free, open conversations on the things that matter most to midlife women.

Each session explores a different theme — always honest, always practical, always grounded in real experience rather than theory. No hard sell. No obligation. Just a conversation worth having.

Sessions are held online and open to any woman who wants to come. You don’t need to have worked with me before or be considering coaching. Just curiosity and a willingness to show up.

Upcoming Session: The Food Battle Isn’t About Food

A free online conversation for midlife women

You’ve tried the diets. You’ve followed the plans. You know what you should be doing. So why does the battle with food keep going — year after year, decade after decade?

In this free session we’ll explore what’s really driving the struggle — and why changing your relationship with food starts somewhere completely different from where most people look.

I thought the coaching would focus entirely on eating. Little did I realise the changes in other areas that would result. Joanne was able to articulate many things that I was not able to put into words myself. It has been a hugely transformative process.

Paid Group Programmes

Reset & Realign

A 6-week online group coaching programme

For the woman who senses it’s time. Not for a dramatic overhaul — but for a genuine pause. A chance to take stock of where she is, release what no longer fits, and move forward with more clarity, intention and ease.

Over six weeks, in a small group of like-minded women, we work through where you are now — and where the energy is going. What’s draining you, what’s holding you back, what you’ve been carrying that isn’t yours to carry. Your relationships, your boundaries, your sense of what actually matters. And what a different way forward — one that feels genuinely yours — might look like.

This isn’t a motivational programme. It’s a reflective, guided process that asks for honesty and rewards it.

Group size: Maximum 8 women

Format: Weekly 90-minute online sessions

Investment: £225 (direct booking) / £240 (via Eventbrite/Humanitix)

Making Peace with Food

An 8-week online mindful eating programme — launching autumn 2026

For women who are ready to change their relationship with food — not through another set of rules, but by getting underneath the patterns that have been driving the struggle for years.

Over eight weeks, in a small, supported group, we explore what’s really behind the food battle — the emotional triggers, the habits, the self-criticism that keeps the cycle going. How to recognise genuine hunger and respond to it. How to eat with attention and ease rather than guilt and calculation. And how changing how you relate to food changes how you relate to yourself.

This is not a weight-loss programme. It is a space for honest reflection, practical skill-building, and the kind of change that actually lasts.

Group size: Maximum 8 women

Format: Weekly 90-minute online sessions

Investment: £295 (direct booking) / £320 (via Eventbrite/Humanitix)

Start date: Early autumn 2026 — exact date TBC

I was stuck in a cycle of overeating and had reached my exhaustion level with it. I knew the solution lay in looking within. The coaching helped me uncover patterns in my life — some expected, others surprising. I leave the process with much more awareness, self-confidence, and for the first time, I’m not at war with food. The pressure and tension have eased, and I feel calm around food again.

Coming Soon

Alongside the programmes above, I’ll be offering further group sessions and workshops on themes that matter to midlife women — including self-care, self-discovery, resilience, and navigating the identity shifts that midlife brings.

If you’d like to be the first to hear about new sessions as they’re announced — or if there’s a topic you’d love to see explored — I’d genuinely love to hear from you. This community is being built around what actually matters to the women in it.

From Group Work to Individual Coaching

For some women, the group experience is exactly what they need. For others, it opens a door to wanting more individual space — to go deeper on their own specific patterns and history.

If after a group programme you feel ready for more personalised work, 1:1 coaching is available. Participants in any group programme are offered a discounted rate on 1:1 coaching packages as a way of continuing the work at a deeper level.

A Note on How I Facilitate

I’m not a trainer delivering content at you. I’m a facilitator — someone who creates the conditions for honest, useful conversation and then gets out of the way.

Group sessions are small by design. Never more than eight women. Enough space for everyone to be heard. Enough diversity for perspectives to collide in useful ways. Enough intimacy for real honesty to feel safe.

What you bring matters as much as what I bring. The group is part of the experience.
