About me and my approach
I am a certified, accredited Professional Health and Wellbeing Coach and have been working in the health and wellness field since 2011.
I came to coaching through my own journey. I know what it’s like to look like you’ve got it all together on the outside but still feel a bit of a mess. I've navigated struggles with eating, weight, and self-worth that led to anxiety and unhelpful habits. In my 40s, I learned to tune into my needs, and found joy in movement, peaceful eating, and self-care. These experiences, combined with my curiosity about the mind and body and how change happens, fuel my work.
Over the years I’ve trained in coaching psychology, mindful eating, self-compassion, weight management, behaviour change, neurodiversity coaching, executive coaching and movement instruction (see below).
But more than any technique, it’s the quality of presence I offer that clients tell me they value the most. Clients say they feel seen and heard non-judgementally, something they haven’t experienced elsewhere.
Coaching with me is calm, grounded and collaborative. I will offer practical tools where helpful but I won’t tell you what to do. Whatever we might talk about – be it food, anxiety, purpose, relationships, neurodivergence, or burnout - I will help you hear yourself more clearly.
My professional training
I draw on an extensive range of tools and frameworks because I have found that most people benefit from a blended approach.
These tools and frameworks are evidence-based and are derived from various psychology and behaviour change models, including: the science of habits and goal setting, neuroscience, positive psychology, motivational interviewing, self-compassion, acceptance & commitment training (ACT), and mindfulness.

Before training as a coach, I was a university lecturer and researcher. I conducted field research in both North India and Thailand. My PhD in Social Anthropology (London School of Economics and Political Science) led me to work as a social development consultant for NGOs and international development organisations in South East Asia and West Africa. For 16 years, I lived in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. My background in Social Anthropology and experience living overseas have honed my skills in cross-cultural communication and given me a deep understanding of cultural factors that can shape a client’s worldview, attitudes, challenges, and aspirations.
