You aren’t here to be fixed. You’re here to be free.

Most of the women I work with are exhausted. Smart, self-aware, and spending decades trying to do everything right — following the plans, reading the books, starting over every Monday. If you feel like you’ve lost the thread of who you are underneath all the have-tos and the shoulds, I want you to know: you’re not broken. You’re just ready to feel like yourself again.

From being good to feeling good

For years I lived that same story. On the outside I looked like I had it all together. On the inside I was a mess of yo-yo dieting, self-criticism, and a hollow feeling that no amount of success could fill.

I eventually realised that the struggle with food and my body was never really about food or my body. It was a symptom of something deeper — wearing myself out trying so hard to be good for everyone else that I’d forgotten how to feel good for myself. And in the process, I’d ended up further from myself than ever.

Through coaching, peaceful eating, and mindful movement I learned to stop fighting myself and come home. Now I help other women do the same — moving from the exhaustion of performance to the ease of simply being.

How I work

I don’t offer another plan to follow. I bring a blend of professional expertise and lived experience that lets me meet you where you actually are — not where you think you should be.

With a PhD in social anthropology from the LSE and 16 months of fieldwork in a Himalayan village, I learned to listen deeply — not just to what people say, but to the patterns underneath. I help you understand the story your life has been telling, and whether it’s actually yours.

As a PCC certified health and wellness coach with 15 years experience, I use evidence-based frameworks to turn self-awareness into real, felt, lasting change. Not insight for its own sake — but the kind of change you actually live.

And as a Level 4 Essentrics instructor, I help you reconnect with your body through movement that feels genuinely good — building the capacity to sense what you need from the inside, rather than just performing from the outside.

What Changes

When you change the relationship you have with yourself, everything else follows. The food battle gets quiet. Movement stops feeling like punishment. You wake up without that low hum of guilt.

You start to feel — perhaps for the first time in a long time — like yourself. Fully, freely, unapologetically yourself.

Midlife isn’t a decline. It’s an invitation — to shed the stories that were never yours, and finally feel truly alive.

From my first conversation with Joanne, I knew I was in safe hands. Throughout this journey, Joanne guided me gently and professionally into finding the answer naturally myself. I truly believe that, having had numerous therapies throughout my 60 years, these sessions with Joanne have been the most effective and ultimately life-changing for me.

If any of that resonates, I think we should talk.
