Professional Training

I draw on an extensive range of tools and frameworks because I have found that most people benefit from a blended approach.

The tools and frameworks I use are evidence-based and are derived from various psychology and behaviour change models, including: coaching psychology, the science of habits and goal setting, neuroscience, positive psychology, motivational interviewing, self-compassion, acceptance & commitment training (ACT), and mindfulness.

Movement has always been very important to me. And now, as a Level 4 Essentrics®
Instructor, teaching has become a source of tremendous joy and meaning.  I am currently the only Essentrics Instructor in Scotland and the first fully qualified in the UK. Essentrics is a full-body dynamic stretch and strength functional fitness program originating in Canada. To find out more about Essentrics and my classes click here.

Until recently I worked part-time for a UK occupational health company as a Workplace Wellbeing Consultant and Workplace Coach. I am currently an Associate Practitioner with a private GP clinic in Glasgow where I offer wellbeing coaching and peaceful eating coaching services. I am listed as a Mindful Eating Workshop Facilitator and Coach on the Am I Hungry? website https://www.amihungry.net/index.cfm?p=search_fac&search=true as well as an Instructor on the Essentrics website (https://essentrics.com/?s=moller) .

Before training as a coach, I was a university lecturer and researcher. I conducted field research in both North India and Thailand. My PhD in Social Anthropology (London School of Economics and Political Science) led me to work as a social development consultant for NGOs and international development organisations in South East Asia and West Africa. For 16 years, I lived in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. My background in Social Anthropology and experience living overseas have not only given me experience of living as an expatriate spouse, but also honed my skills in cross-cultural communication, giving me a deep understanding of cultural factors that can shape a client’s worldview, attitudes, challenges, and aspirations.
