Find Peace with Food and Your Body

Many of us have spent years caught up in cycles of dieting, emotional eating, or trying to control what we eat. You may have called it “willpower,” “comfort eating,” or even a “food addiction.” However you describe it, it can feel exhausting — like food and your body are a constant battleground. You might be longing for peace — a way to eat, live, and care for yourself without guilt, fear, or endless mental chatter about food. If you’re ready to step out of that struggle, there is hope.

If you’re open to a gentler, more sustainable approach, Mindful Eating can help you rebuild trust with yourself and your body, and find lasting ease with food.

Mindful eating — eating with intention and attention — offers a compassionate way to make food choices without restriction, deprivation, or guilt. It helps you reconnect with hunger, fullness, and satisfaction so eating feels calmer and more pleasurable.

Even more powerful is the combination of mindful eating and intentional movement practices such as Essentrics. Movement rooted in Essentrics complements mindful eating beautifully. At its core, intentional movement is the practice of listening inwardly. By working gently and consciously with the body, we begin to notice tension, breath, emotion, and energy. That awareness deepens our ability to respond to our needs rather than override and neglect them.

Together, mindful eating and Essentrics help you rebuild trust in your body’s signals. When these practices are woven together, the change is not just intellectual — it becomes embodied. The shift isn’t just something you understand — it’s something you begin to feel.

Over time, food becomes simpler, movement more supportive, emotions and your body begins to feel less like a problem to solve and more like somewhere you can live comfortably again - it feels more like home.

A Compassionate, Mindful Approach

I offer a safe and supportive space for people who feel stuck in patterns of emotional, restrictive, or overeating. Together we can explore what’s driving those behaviours and work towards a new, kinder relationship with food and your body — one rooted in self-awareness, acceptance, and compassion.

This is not a diet. It’s an invitation to reconnect with your body’s natural wisdom and to nourish yourself — physically and emotionally — with curiosity rather than judgment.

Is This You?

Does any of this resonate with you? You’re:

  • Feeling guilt or frustration around eating.

  • Using food to manage emotions like stress, anxiety, and boredom .

  • Feeling preoccupied with thoughts about food or your body.

  • Longing for freedom, but unsure how to get there.

You don’t need to struggle on your own. Together we can explore what’s underneath the patterns and help you find a way of eating — and living — that feels peaceful, balanced, and free.

This Work Is For You If You Want To:

  • Create a calm, trusting relationship with food and yourself.

  • Develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-care.

  • Focus on holistic wellbeing rather than weight control.

  • Reconnect with your body’s cues and inner wisdom.

  • Cultivate a richer, more fulfilling life grounded in ease and acceptance.

This Approach May Not Be Suitable If You:

  • Are currently managing a clinically diagnosed eating disorder.

  • Prefer structured diet plans or quick-fix solutions.

  • Are focused on weight loss rather than overall wellbeing.

  • Are not ready for reflective, exploratory work.

Who It Can Support

Mindful Eating Coaching can also be valuable for anyone who wants to develop a healthier, more balanced relationship with food. This includes people living with a chronic health condition that impacts their ability to enjoy food or requires them to change their eating habits to improve their symptoms or condition status. It is helpful for example for Pre-diabetes or Type 2 Diabetes, and for those considering or recovering from Bariatric Surgery.

Ways to Work Together

1:1 Coaching
Personalised sessions that meet you where you are. We’ll work at your pace to explore your relationship with food and create lasting, meaningful change.

Small-Group Coaching
An 8-session series introducing the core principles of mindful eating. This programme offers a solid foundation for those beginning their journey or preparing for deeper 1:1 or small-group work. The 8-week mindful eating programme helps you rediscover hunger, fullness, satisfaction, and emotional awareness. With a supportive, small community of peers you can share experiences, learn together, and realise that you’re not alone.

Optional Add On

If you want to deepen their learning by strengthening your mind-body connection, increasing mobility and vitality, and helping you practice presence in a tangible way, you can combine the mindful eating work with a weekly restorative movement class rooted in Essentrics. This pairing allows you not only to understand the concepts intellectually, but to embody them physically and emotionally. When these approaches are woven together, the work becomes lived rather than theoretical. You begin to carry what you learn into everyday life — in how you eat, how you move, and how you respond to yourself.

If you’d like to explore which option would suit you best, I offer a complimentary 30-minute private conversation. It’s an opportunity to talk through where you are now and what kind of support would feel most helpful. Get in touch to find out more
